Ecovillage - A meticulous step towards Global Sustainability. - PART II

In continuation with the previous blog,

The analysis as below,

you could see description of 3 forces in the table of previous blog with X,Y and Z.

So,

if X+Y+Z constitute E (an Ecovillage),

Then X, Y and Z are nothing but summation of variables 'a to r'.

as you can see in the above table,

to see constant, X, as a whole, it is necessary that variables a,b and c are existing and functioning.
if for example, there is no Environemnt sensitisation, then, we cannot say that Ecological force is functioning properly. we need a+b+c and not just b+c,or a+b, or a+c or just a  or b or c. Sameway for other constants, Y and Z.

X = a+b+c
Y = d+e+f+….+l
Z = m+n+o…+r
Having said that it is necessary to also understand that, it is not just sufficient to have all variables from a to r, which means X, Y and Z are existing as separate Wholes. But we need, these Constants, X,Y and Z to be interconnected as they as a whole will form a sustainable ecovillage. If we have all three constants existing, but there is no connection between the three, then there is no purpose of variables functioning.

Non Interactive economy

Fig 2. Interactive economy - Sustainable Ecovillage

Fig 2 describes, a systematic approach towards forming an ecovillage, wherein, there is connection between variables, within variables and  Constants and a perfect feedback system to monitor as a whole, but viewing it in parts.

I have tried to explain here, the essentials of not just an ecovillage but a sustainable ecovillage. It is obvious from above explanation, that when we have nano of the nano particle of any system to function properly and have an efficient feedback system, then the whole will definitely be non-ambiguous, transparent and dispute free. And, when we apply this at a Global level, where we have all variables, Constants and their interactions in place, Global Sustainability is highly possible in short span of time. Hence, Ecovillage is a meticulous step towards achieving Global Sustainability.

Definition of Ecovillage Ecovillages  are traditional or  intentional communities  whose goal is to become more socially, culturally, economically and ecologically  sustainable . 3 Forces/Factors of Ecovillage . So the forces that unite people in ecovillage (ecovillages) are, 1. Ecological 2. Socioeconomic 3. Cultural a spiritual. The goal of an ecovillage is, to have a sustainable economy. So, all activities are directed in such a way that sustainability is achieved. In present era and for many eras to come, ecovillages will play a pivotal role. If we analyse deep into each above said factors, we can realise how close knitted are they and at the same time, so well defined.  Analysis We shall try to analyse these through what - why - how - where and when. Viewing Life From The Perspective Of Systems Thinking.

You think that because you understand “one” that you must therefore understand “two” because one and one make two. But you forget that you must also understand “and.” —Sufi teaching story. Introduction The founders of the systems movement like  Ludwig von Bertalanffy ,  Kenneth Boulding ,  Ralph Gerard ,  James Grier Miller ,  George J. Klir , and  Anatol Rapoport  were all born between 1900 and 1920. They all came from different natural and social science disciplines and joined forces in the 1950s to establish the general systems theory  paradigm . Along with the organization of their efforts a first generation of systems scientists rose. Understanding System Science in Layman's language . A Whole is greater than the sum of its parts. If we view a problem or a situation in parts, then, it is obvious to find a true solution nevertheless how complex the problem or situation may be. It all starts with expanding the thinking paradigm in line...
